Man Charged After Teen Girl Found Murdered in East London
Maher Maaroufe, 22, with no fixed address, has been charged with assaulting an emergency worker. He is set to appear in custody at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, 22 March.
Tragic Discovery in Sebastian Street
Police were called to Arbour 1, Sebastian Street, at around 5:10am on Saturday, 19 March. There, they found 19-year-old Sabita suffering from serious injuries. Sadly, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Sharp Force Trauma Fatality
A post-mortem at Whittington Hospital on Monday, 21 March confirmed Sabita died from sharp force trauma to the neck.
