Fifth Man Charged in Enfield Murder of Skender Ismaili
Detectives have charged a fifth suspect in the shocking murder of Skender Ismaili in Enfield.
New Arrest Adds to Murder Probe
Jahzeel Lewis, 28, from Northolt, was hit with murder and burglary charges on Thursday, 3 September. He will appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 4 September, in custody.
Four More Men Also Face Charges
Lewis joins four others charged with murder and conspiracy to burgle:
- Ali Coulibaly, 20, of Atkinson Road, E16
- Mason Harris-Williams, 24, of North Road, W5
- Daniel Fletcher, 19, of Ceder Grove, W5
- Ahmed Yamac, 19, of Wooldridge Close, TW14
Fatal Stabbing After Early Morning Brawl
Police were called to Lytton Avenue, Enfield, at 4.45am on Friday, 17 July over reports of men fighting. Around 5am, officers at North Middlesex Hospital found a man suffering from a stab wound.
Despite emergency efforts, 30-year-old Skender Ismaili was pronounced dead at the scene. A post-mortem on 19 July confirmed he died from a single stab wound to the chest. His next of kin have been informed.
