Tragic Death of Young Man Found Injured on Glasgow Road
A 23-year-old man, Kieran Paul Murray, has died in hospital after being found seriously injured on a road just north of Glasgow. He was discovered by members of the public on Balmore Road near the Allander Toll Roundabout at around 9.50pm last Wednesday.
Emergency Services Rush to Scene
Emergency crews rushed Kieran to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital after he suffered a serious head injury. Sadly, he was pronounced dead on Friday morning. His family have been informed and are said to be heartbroken.
Police Launch Urgent Investigation
Detective Chief Inspector Gillian Grant from Police Scotland’s Major Investigation Teams said: “Kieran’s family are absolutely heartbroken and it is vital that we find out what happened to him.”
She added: “At this time, it is unclear how he came to be seriously injured on Balmore Road. We are exploring several lines of inquiry.”
Public Appeal for Witnesses
DCI Grant is urging anyone who was near Balmore Road on Wednesday night to come forward. “If you noticed anything suspicious or have dash-cam footage from the area, please get in touch,” she said.

“A young man has lost his life, leaving his family devastated. We must find answers for them,” said DCI Grant.
A post-mortem examination will be carried out soon to establish the exact cause of death.
