Tragic Crash in Surrey Claims Lives of Man and Child
Surrey Police have confirmed a deadly crash in Lightwater that killed a man and a child. The horrific smash happened on Red Road and involved three vehicles. Emergency services rushed to the scene after the collision.
Three-Vehicle Collision Leaves Two Dead and Two Seriously Injured
The crash occurred around 8:20pm on Sunday, involving a grey Range Rover, a blue BMW, and a white Audi. The driver of the BMW, a man in his 30s, and a child passenger died at the scene. Two others suffered serious injuries and were rushed to hospital for treatment.
Man Arrested and Faces Multiple Dangerous Driving Charges
A 62-year-old man has been arrested by Surrey Police in connection with the smash. He now faces charges including causing death by dangerous driving, causing serious injury by dangerous driving, and driving without due care while unfit through drink or drugs.
Police Seek Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
