Tragic Baby Falls from Eighth Floor in East London
Police rushed to East India Dock Road, Poplar, just before 7pm on Monday after reports of a child falling from the eighth floor of a residential block.
Toddler Airlifted to Hospital
Officers arrived alongside the London Ambulance Service (LAS) to find the toddler seriously injured. The young child was quickly taken to hospital. An update on their condition is still awaited.
Area Locked Down as Investigation Underway
Road closures are in place at the junctions of Chrisp Street and Newby Place, causing traffic disruptions. Motorists are urged to find alternative routes.
