Four Jailed Over Horrific Terror Chat Rooms
Daniel Wright, 29, Liam Hall, 31, Stacey Salmon, 29, all from Keighley, West Yorkshire, and Samuel Whibley, 29, from Menai Bridge, Anglesey, have been found guilty after a two-month trial at Doncaster Crown Court.
Horrific Online Messages Exposed
Prosecutors revealed the gang “celebrated racist violence and killing” through encrypted Telegram chats. They exchanged terror manuals, shared vile racist ideology, and posted shocking videos of atrocities. The trial was relocated from Sheffield to Doncaster due to court issues.
“The group described notorious killers like Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh and mass murderer Anders Breivik as ‘saints,’” said prosecutor Annabel Darlow QC. “They also showed an active interest in making explosives and weapons.”
Guilty of Terror and Firearms Offences
- Daniel Wright (Whinfield Avenue, Keighley) was convicted of disseminating terrorist publications, possessing terrorist articles, collecting terror-related information, and both possessing and making a firearm.
- Liam Hall (Hill Top Walk, Keighley) was cleared of possessing terrorist articles but found guilty of possessing and making a firearm.
- Stacey Salmon, Hall’s partner, was acquitted of possessing terrorist articles but convicted of possessing a firearm.
- Samuel Whibley (Derwen Deg, Menai Bridge) was found guilty of encouraging terrorism and disseminating terrorist publications.
The four militants denied all charges but will be sentenced soon.
