Daisy and Minnie-Mo Hunt Launch Savage Attack
A chilling video surfaced showing sisters Daisy and Minnie-Mo Hunt viciously attacking a woman and stomping on her while she lay unconscious. The brutal assault happened last summer on Southsea Common and horrified the public.
Jail Time for Daisy Hunt
Daisy Hunt, 23, from Berkshire Close, was locked up for three years at Portsmouth Crown Court. She was convicted of attempting to cause grievous bodily harm during the savage attack.
Suspended Sentence for Minnie-Mo
Minnie-Mo Hunt, 25, of Kiln Lane, Epsom, escaped immediate jail but was handed an 18-month suspended sentence for causing actual bodily harm.
Victim Suffers Serious Injuries
- The victim, a 20-year-old woman from Havant, was attacked on June 17, 2020, around 8.30pm.
- She was rushed to Queen Alexandra Hospital with severe head and face injuries.
- Thankfully, she has since made a recovery.
“This was a nasty assault that could have had much more serious consequences,” said Portsmouth South Inspector Louise Tester. “This behaviour was completely unacceptable, and the sentence shows we will thoroughly investigate and prosecute these kinds of distressing and violent crimes. I hope today’s verdict provides some closure for the victim.”
