Armed officers and Met response teams raced to Derby Road, Enfield, this afternoon after a man was shot in the neck. The dramatic incident unfolded around 3pm on Saturday, sparking a large police cordon and an ongoing investigation.
Man Airlifted to Hospital in Critical Condition
Hospital staff called police at 2.33pm after a man in his 20s arrived with a gunshot wound. Believed to have been shot near Derby Road, the victim is in critical condition. He was treated at North Middlesex Hospital before being airlifted for emergency care.
No Arrests Yet as Police Hunt Suspects
Officers remain on the scene, combing the area for clues. No arrests have been made so far. Police urge anyone with information to get in touch immediately.
