Pair Jailed Over Sickening Abuse of Toddler
Naomi O’Brien from Ashton-under-Lyne has been locked up for 4 years and 3 months. She’s also slapped with a 4-year and 4-month Sexual Harm Prevention Order and must comply with Sex Offender Notification Requirements for life.
Jonathan Walker, from Pontsticill, Merthyr Tydfil, was handed a massive 12-and-a-half-year prison sentence. He was found guilty of sexually abusing a 4-year-old boy, performing sexual acts in front of a child, and possessing indecent images.
Shocking Chats Reveal Twisted Plans
Investigators uncovered chilling messages between Walker and O’Brien revealing their shared sick obsession with children. O’Brien repeatedly urged Walker to abuse the victim during March 2023.
The vile pair’s conversations showed clear evidence of complicity, dashing any notions that it was mere fantasy or role play.
Police Praise Relentless Investigation
Detective Inspector Marsden of GMP’s Online Child Abuse Investigation Team spoke out:
“Firstly, our thoughts remain with the victim and their family having gone through such a terrible ordeal.
“After a lengthy probe analysing 1,865 messages, we proved these chats weren’t fantasy. O’Brien actively encouraged Walker’s abuse of a young boy.
“This outcome is significant not just for the vulnerable 4-year-old victim but for all children at risk of exploitation by predators like these two.”
“I hope this sentence sends a clear message: we will use every tool to bring abusers to justice.”
