A 38-year-old man has been charged after spraying graffiti on the famous Winston Churchill statue in Parliament Square.
Graffiti Suspect Nabbed at Dawn
Caspar San Giorgio, who has no fixed address, was arrested just after 4am on Friday, 27 February. Police quickly linked him to the vandalism and took him into custody.
Charged and Remanded
San Giorgio faced criminal damage charges at 3:50am on Saturday, 28 February and was remanded in custody. He is scheduled to appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court later today.
