Man Charged Over Stratford Rape Probe
Stratford, Newham – A 39-year-old man has been charged following a reported sexual assault in Stratford. The disturbing incident came to light on Thursday, January 11, when police were alerted to a woman in her 30s being sexually assaulted earlier that day.
Suspect Held and Charged
Dancho Danchev, from Woodford Green, was arrested and charged on Friday, January 12. He faces counts of rape, actual bodily harm, and possession of a Class B drug. Danchev made his first court appearance at Thames Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, January 13, where he was remanded in custody.
