Southampton Man Busted for Multiple Shoplifting Sprees

Thomas Curran, 28, from Cranbury Avenue, Southampton, has been charged with several shoplifting offences spanning April and May.

What He Stole and When

  • 24 April, 9:47am: Two packs of salmon swiped from Sainsbury’s, Bedford Place.
  • 1 May, 11:30am: Two bottles of gin and beer worth £68 nicked from Marks & Spencer, Westquay Shopping Centre.
  • 2 May, 1:20pm: Another two bottles, valued at £60, taken from the same M&S store.

Legal Action Underway

Curran was remanded and appeared at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 10 June.
