Man Denies Sex Assault on Flight to Heathrow

Umran Nasser, 54, from Wanstead Park Road, has pleaded not guilty to sexually assaulting two women aboard a Turkish Airlines flight from Istanbul to Heathrow. He appeared at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court on Friday and flatly denied the allegations.

  • Two counts of sexual assault
  • One count of threatening behaviour
  • One count of being drunk on an aircraft

Speaking from the dock, Nasser insisted: “There was no intention of sexual assault,” and denied being intoxicated, adding he was “not drunk.”

Next Hearing Scheduled

Magistrate Kamran Zubair confirmed Nasser will face a preliminary hearing at Isleworth Crown Court on Friday, March 6. He was granted bail ahead of the hearing.
