Man Hospitalised After Late-Night Assault on Bellegrove Road
A man was rushed to hospital with a serious head injury following an assault on Bellegrove Road, Welling, late on Thursday night, June 20. The attack took place just after 10:20 PM, sparking a swift emergency response.
Emergency Crews Rush to Scene
Metropolitan Police officers and London Ambulance Service (LAS) crews arrived quickly after the call. They found the victim injured and provided urgent medical treatment at the scene before transporting him to a south London hospital. His current condition remains unknown.
No Arrests Yet in Assault Investigation
So far, no arrests have been made in connection with the attack. A Met Police spokesperson said: “Police were called around 22:23 hrs on Thursday following reports of an assault on Bellegrove Road, Welling. Officers attended and found a man with a head injury. LAS treated him and took him to hospital. No arrests have been made at this time.”
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
The London Ambulance Service confirmed rapid response, saying their paramedic arrived in less than two minutes and treated the patient on site before hospital transfer.
