A twisted predator who locked a woman in a train toilet and sexually assaulted her before targeting a teenager moments later has been handed a brutal six-year prison sentence. Daniel Odubanjo, 27, from Clapham, was locked up at Chelmsford Crown Court on Monday, 12 January following a tough investigation by British Transport Police (BTP).

Gruesome Train Attacks Shock Community

Odubanjo was found guilty of false imprisonment and two counts of sexual assault after a gripping trial. The vile assaults took place on Network Rail property, leaving the local area reeling in horror.

Strict Orders Keep Predator Locked Down

In addition to the six-year sentence, Odubanjo must pay a victim surcharge. He’s also slapped with a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) banning him from being intoxicated on public transport, at stations, or anywhere on Network Rail land.

“The swift work by the British Transport Police has brought justice for the victims,” said a BTP spokesperson.
