Serious Crash in Slough: Man Injured in Head-On Collision
Thames Valley Police are hunting witnesses after a nasty crash left a man badly hurt in Slough.
At around 6.30pm on Friday 30 October, a dark grey Renault Clio and a light blue Honda Jazz smashed head-on on Windsor Road. The Renault was heading north towards Slough, while the Honda was travelling the opposite way towards Eton.
Victim Suffers Multiple Broken Bones
The Honda driver, a 61-year-old man, was rushed to John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford with serious injuries, including a broken leg and several broken ribs. He remains in hospital receiving treatment.
The Renault driver escaped with minor injuries.
Arrest Made in Connection to Crash
A 31-year-old man from Slough has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and driving over the alcohol limit. He was later released under investigation.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
Investigating officer PC Ben Taylor said: “This was a serious collision that occurred at a busy time of the evening on Friday.”
“We’re appealing to anyone in the Windsor Road area who saw the crash or either vehicle beforehand to get in touch.”
“If you have dash-cam footage, please check it and contact us if you’ve captured anything useful.”
