Ringwood Man Admits to Seven Shoplifting Thefts in One Month

A 26-year-old Ringwood man, Quincy Rufus Digby Hopkins, has confessed to a string of shoplifting offences across the town. Hopkins, who currently has no fixed address, pleaded guilty to seven counts of theft at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 18 September.

Month-Long Crime Spree Across Ringwood Shops

The thefts took place between Thursday 15 August and Tuesday 17 September at various local stores. Following an investigation, Hopkins was arrested and charged with the offences.

Hopkins Given Conditional Bail Ahead of November Sentencing

The court has released Hopkins on conditional bail. He is due to appear again for sentencing at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 20 November.
