Asylum Seeker Locked Up for Shocking Sex Demand and Home Invasion in Newcastle
Trousers Down and Making Disturbing Demands
Hamda Salah, 29, an Egyptian asylum seeker, sparked outrage after showing up at a Newcastle woman’s door with his trousers down, boxers on full display. At around 7pm, Salah boldly asked for sex. When the woman said no, he tried to force his way inside. Luckily, she slammed the door before he could get in.
Night of Chaos in Another Home
The nightmare wasn’t over. Later that night, Salah broke into a nearby family’s house. Inside, he:
- Climbed into the man’s bed wearing his shorts
- Urinated on the bed
- Smash photo frames in rage
- Stole £140-£160 from a money box
Harsh Sentence and Life on Sex Offender Register
Salah pleaded guilty to attempted trespass with intent to commit a sexual offence (treated as exposure) and burglary. He’s been sentenced to three years behind bars. Plus, he’s now on the sex offenders register for life and hit with a sexual harm prevention order.
On top of that, Salah faces automatic deportation once released. This latest offence is the last straw after previous suspended sentences for sexual assault and showing pornography to lone female train passengers in 2024. He was even banned from speaking to unknown women on public transport. He also has another assault conviction.
Recorder Tony Hawks said: “Automatic deportation is a necessary consequence of Salah’s criminal behaviour.”
