A 25-year-old woman from St Leonards-on-Sea has been charged with serious drug offences and human trafficking after police uncovered the exploitation of two children.
Tip-Off Leads to Police Raid
On 2 February, officers received a tip-off about possible child exploitation involving a local woman. Just weeks later, police swooped on a property in Silverlands Road on 3 March, arresting Cara Foxwell.
Foxwell Faces Heavy Charges
The day after her arrest, Foxwell was charged with possession of a class B drug and human trafficking offences (excluding kidnapping). She appeared at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on 4 March and was remanded in custody, with her next hearing set for 1 April.
