Teen Brutally Attacked in Surrey, Three Men Jailed
Three men are behind bars after a savage assault left a 16-year-old fighting for his life near Godstone Road, Whyteleafe, Surrey. The shocking attack happened in the early hours of 9 March 2024 and has sent shockwaves through the community.
Samurai Sword and Dangerous Driving: A Violent Night
The gang wielded deadly weapons, including a one-metre-long samurai sword. Adrian Rozpara, 21, was caught on camera brandishing the sword, shouting, “Where are you from?” alongside 29-year-old Machas Tuzizila, who also carried a weapon. The violence escalated when one teen tried to escape on his moped. Fabion Parnell, 26, deliberately hit him with his car, dragged him along the road, ran over him again, and then sped off.
Relentless Assault and Robbery
22-year-old Harvey Manley joined in, kicking and punching the injured boy until he passed out. He then stole the victim’s coat before running away. Tuzizila attempted to intervene but failed to stop the brutal attack.
Guildford Crown Court Delivers Tough Justice
- Fabion Parnell pleaded guilty to attempted grievous bodily harm, dangerous driving, and driving while disqualified. He was locked up for eight years and three months.
- Harvey Manley admitted robbery and affray. He received a three year, nine-month sentence but was released immediately for time served since arrest.
- Adrian Rozpara got a two-year suspended sentence plus community service for threatening with an offensive weapon and affray.
- Machas Tuzizila had already served 10 months for weapons and handling stolen goods connected to the attack.
Surrey Police joined forces with the Metropolitan Police for a rapid manhunt. Manley was arrested within two days, and by April 2024, Parnell, Tuzizila, and Rozpara were all in custody and charged the same day. This horrific attack exposes a chilling level of violence on Surrey’s streets. But swift police action and heavy sentences send a clear warning: crime like this will not be tolerated.
