Three Stabbed at East London Pub – Two Charged with Attempted Murder
Stabbing Shocker at The Duke, Walthamstow
Police rushed to The Duke pub on Wood Street, E17, just after 8pm on Monday, 13 February following reports of a stabbing.
Officers, accompanied by London Ambulance and Air Ambulance crews, found three men inside the pub with stab wounds.
The victims, aged between 27 and 42, were swiftly taken to a nearby east London hospital. Fortunately, none of their injuries were life-threatening.
Three Men Arrested and Charged
- Jayden Brown, 22, from Chingford, was arrested on Wednesday, 15 February. He now faces three counts of attempted murder plus possession of an offensive weapon. On 8 March, he appeared at Thames Magistrates’ Court and was remanded in custody. His next hearing is at the Old Bailey on 27 March.
- Brandon Brown, 24, of no fixed address, was arrested on 25 February. The day after, he was charged with three counts of attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon. He was remanded on 27 February at Thames Magistrates’ Court and will return to Old Bailey on 27 March.
- Ruben Dyer, 27, from Walthamstow, was held on 17 February. Charged the next day with attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon, he was remanded at Thames Magistrates’ Court. Dyer is due back at Inner London Crown Court on 17 March.
Additional Arrests in Ongoing Investigation
Police also arrested a 15-year-old boy and a 36-year-old woman on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder. Both were released on bail ahead of further inquiries, with bail conditions lasting until late March.
