St Albans Man Busted Over Spate of Car Thefts and Burglaries

Rapid Police Action Leads to Arrest
TheChief Constable’s Crime Squad at Kent Police sprang into action after reports came in. They secured a warrant and arrested Wells at his St Albans Gardens home on Tuesday, 1 March.
Heavy Charges: Burglary, Theft, Fraud and More
- Two counts of burglary linked to stolen cars and a bank card.
- Fraudulent use of the stolen bank card.
- Theft from three parked vehicles – including a handbag, sunglasses, and pricey cosmetics.
- 10 attempted burglaries and 10 counts of vehicle interference.
- A further theft charge for stealing tools from a vehicle on 17 February.
Remanded in Custody, Next Court Date Set
Wells was remanded in custody and appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on 3 March. He remains held and is due at Woolwich Crown Court on Thursday, 31 March.
