Heroic Neighbours Rescue Woman and Dog from Whitstable Flat Fire

Late Saturday night, a fire broke out in a flat on St Andrews Close, Whitstable. The Kent Sussex and Surrey air ambulance was quickly dispatched to the scene.

Neighbours Leap Into Action

Neighbours helped a woman escape through a window before firefighters arrived. She suffered a minor leg injury but was otherwise unharmed. Thankfully, her pet dog was safe too, according to those nearby.

Woman Rushed to Hospital

Paramedics treated the woman at the scene before rushing her to William Harvey Hospital in Ashford, Kent.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service Responds

Kent Fire and Rescue Service received multiple calls from concerned locals who spotted the blaze. They are yet to comment on the incident.
