Late Saturday night, the Kent, Sussex and Surrey Air Ambulance was scrambled to a flat fire on St Andrews Close, Whitstable.
Neighbours Rescue Woman and Her Dog
Quick-thinking neighbours helped the woman escape through a window before firefighters arrived. She suffered a minor leg injury but was otherwise safe, along with her beloved dog.
Woman Taken to Hospital After Fire
Paramedics treated the lady at the scene before rushing her to William Harvey Hospital in Ashford, Kent.
Fire Services Respond to Multiple Calls
Kent Fire and Rescue Service were alerted by several emergency calls. They have been approached for comment.
