Three Arrested After Dorchester Man Dies from Assault Injuries

Serious Assault in Milford Road

Detectives have launched a probe following the death of a man hurt in a violent attack in Dorchester. Police were called at 9.05pm on Saturday 18 March to an assault at a Milford Road address. A man in his 60s suffered serious head injuries and was rushed to hospital.

Victim Dies Weeks Later

Tragically, the victim passed away on the morning of Saturday 8 April. Dorset Police are now investigating the incident as a suspicious death. The HM Coroner has been informed.

Detective Chief Inspector Simon Huxter said: “We are treating this case with the utmost priority and will maintain a strong police presence in the area over the coming days. Our neighbourhood policing team are available for anyone with concerns.”
