Police Warn Pet Owners After Brutal Attack
Detective Inspector Jon Kerry said: “This was an incredibly distressing incident for everyone involved. We are investigating how and why it happened.”
“It’s devastating a woman suffered serious injuries from her own pet. We are grateful it wasn’t worse, especially for the child.”
“While the dog wasn’t believed to be a banned breed, this incident is a stark warning to all pet owners. Never take risks with animals around children, especially if the animal has shown violent behaviour.”
