Dog-Napping Gang on the Prowl in East Wiltshire
Wiltshire police have issued a warning after a gang of men were spotted cruising around eastern Wiltshire trying to snatch pet dogs. On Wednesday 18 November, a green and silver Suzuki 4×4 – believed to be a Vitara – was seen prowling the Shalbourne, Bedwyn, Bagshot, and Hungerford areas.
Thieves Target Gardens and Kennels
The suspects have been ringing front doorbells while another tries to sneak in from the back, attempting to steal dogs from gardens, kennels, and back yards. Police urge locals to keep their pets indoors or ensure kennels are locked up tight.
