Teen Girl Sexually Assaulted Off Bournemouth Beach
A shocking attack unfolded at 3.30pm on Sunday, 18 July 2021, off Bournemouth beach near the Oceanarium. A 15-year-old girl was playing with friends when a ball rolled to a teenage boy by the sea. After tossing it back, he lured her deeper into the water and raped her.

He is described as tanned, between 5ft and 5ft 7in, slim but muscular, with short dark hair slicked back and freshly trimmed. He wore black or grey swimming shorts.
Detective Inspector Wayne Seymour from the Major Crime Investigation Team (MCIT) said: “The victim is being fully supported and we are pursuing a wide range of enquiries. We have forensic evidence that will help rule innocent people out.”
He added: “An e-fit image of the suspect is now available. Anyone recognising him must come forward. We’ve also had reports of young Asian men approaching females on the beach that day, with some exchanging Snapchat messages. If you messaged someone fitting this description, please contact us.”
