Man Shot Multiple Times in Harlesden – Police Hunt Gunman
Detectives are urgently appealing for information after a 42-year-old man was shot multiple times on Nicoll Road, Harlesden.
Police rushed to the scene at 7.47pm on Friday, 17 April following reports of the shooting. The victim sustained life-changing injuries in the brutal attack.
Callous Gunman Strikes in Residential Area
Investigators believe the victim was approached by a black male wearing glasses who fired at him repeatedly before fleeing on foot.
Officers are hunting a white Toyota Auris caught on CCTV arriving and leaving the scene around the time of the shooting. The car was using a cloned registration plate BW15 ZPD and is easy to spot due to its heavily tinted front and rear windows.
Police Plea: Public’s Help Needed to Catch Suspect
“This was a dangerous and callous attack that resulted in the deliberate discharge of a firearm within a residential area,” said Detective Constable Mathew Smith, leading the inquiry. “The suspect is dangerous and must not be approached.”
“I urge anyone who has seen a car matching this description or has any information to come forward. The community’s help is vital in keeping London safe.”
No arrests have been made so far. Police stress all tips will be treated confidentially.
