Armed police and emergency teams rushed to Finchley Memorial Hospital after reports of a man spotted carrying a large sword.

The drama unfolded just after noon on Monday, 29th March 2021, with officers quickly cordoning off the area in North Finchley to contain the situation.
No Threat to Staff or Patients
Sources say the man has not threatened anyone inside the hospital. Staff and patients have been kept safely away from the scene.
