Nine Pigs Stolen in Brazen Lichfield Farm Heist

Staffordshire Police are hunting thieves who made off with nine pigs in two bold raids at a Lichfield farm. The first strike happened on 3 October, with three pigs taken from a farm on Tamworth Road. Just days later, between the evening of 9 October and early 10 October, six more pigs were stolen, leaving another half-dozen injured.

How Did The Thieves Break In?

Officers say the culprits drove up a farm track to access the premises before escaping with the animals. The farm reported the incidents on 11 October, prompting cops to sift through CCTV footage from the nights in question.

Police Plea: Help Catch The Swine Snatchers!

Staffordshire Police are urging anyone with information—or dashcam or CCTV clips that might shed light on the thefts—to come forward. Witnesses can call 101, quoting incident number 230 of 11 October. Anonymous tips can be given to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
