Blaze Breaks Out at Berkshire Flats: Firefighters Battle Overnight
Firefighters remain at the scene of a blaze at a block of flats in Arborfield, Berkshire tonight. The fire broke out Thursday afternoon and crews will continue investigating through the night.
Emergency Services Rush to Millard Place
Firefighters were called to Millard Place shortly before 2.30pm. Local residents were urged to keep doors and windows shut as a precaution. The Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed attendance just after 3pm.
“We received reports of a fire in a residential building at Millard Place, Reading,” said a spokesperson at 2.19pm on April 15.
Massive Response from Multiple Fire Crews
Crews from Wokingham Whitley, Bracknell, Crowthorne, Caversham Road, Mortimer, and Dee Road joined the effort. They were supported by the Aerial Ladder Platform, Incident Command Unit, and backup from Surrey and Hampshire Fire Services.
