Violent attack shocks Ballynure Street

Police swooped on a north Belfast street after a terrifying home invasion on Friday morning, August 23rd. Around 10:40am, emergency crews were called to a property on Ballynure Street following reports that a man had stormed inside and attacked a woman in her 20s.

Woman stabbed in vicious assault

The victim suffered multiple stab wounds during the ordeal and was rushed to hospital for urgent treatment. Details of her current condition remain undisclosed as investigations continue.

Suspect in custody facing serious charges

Officers quickly detained a man in his 20s at the scene. He now faces a string of charges, including attempted murder, criminal damage, possession of an offensive weapon with intent, and possession of a Class C drug.
