Man Arrested After Horrific Sexual Assault in North London
A man in his 20s has been arrested following a shocking sexual assault in north London. The victim, a woman also in her 20s, was dragged from the street and attacked by a stranger in Edgware.
Attack Caught Neighbour’s Eye
The terrifying incident happened around 10:25pm on Thursday, June 27. A passerby found the woman partially clothed in Manor Park Gardens, Edgware. Reports reveal the attacker had been hiding in a nearby garden before grabbing her and forcing her inside, where the assault took place.
Suspect Nabbed Hundreds of Miles Away
The suspect was arrested on Saturday, June 29, in Warrington. Police have since transported him to London, where he remains in custody. Detectives continue their investigation but say no other suspects are being sought in connection with the case.
