Man Arrested in Ventnor Sex Attack Released on Bail
A 35-year-old man arrested over a sex attack in Ventnor on Tuesday evening has been bailed by police.
Graveyard Locked Down Following Daylight Rape Claim
Officers sealed off St Catherine’s Church graveyard just after 5.30pm amid claims a rape took place in broad daylight. The suspect was quickly detained and questioned.
Investigation Ongoing, Suspect to Return in July
After 18 hours in custody, the man was released on police bail. Hampshire Constabulary confirmed the investigation is ongoing. The 35-year-old will return to Newport Police Station on 16th July 2019.
