A biker has died after a collision between two motorcycles in St Leonards on Tuesday afternoon.
Fatal Crash on Harley Shute Road
Emergency crews rushed to Harley Shute Road at around 3.50pm on March 3 following reports of a crash involving two motorcyclists.
The rider, a 50-year-old man from Battle, was pronounced dead at the scene despite paramedics’ best efforts. His grieving family has been informed.
Man Arrested then Released
A 49-year-old local man from St Leonards was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He was later released with no further action.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Officers continue their investigation to determine the cause of the fatal smash. They urge anyone who saw the collision or has dashcam footage to come forward.
