Police Hunt Two Women Over £400 Shoplift Attempt at Asda

Police are on the lookout for two women linked to a botched shoplifting stunt at Asda on Bournemouth Road, Eastleigh. The incident went down at around 8:30pm on Thursday, 25 July, involving £401.49 worth of meats and chilled goods.

Who Are They? Descriptions Released

  • First Woman:
    • Late 30s, black hair
    • Wore a red dress, black cardigan, black leggings, sandals
    • Carrying a black bag
    • Spoke with an Eastern European accent
  • Second Woman:
    • Also late 30s, dark hair in a ponytail
    • Wore a black bomber jacket, white T-shirt, blue jeans, white trainers
    • Carrying a brown bag
    • Also spoke with an Eastern European accent

Police Plead for Public Help

Officers believe the women hold key info that could crack the case. Anyone recognising them, or with any info, is urged to step forward.

Witnesses or those with CCTV, dashcam, or doorbell footage showing the event or anything suspicious nearby should contact police immediately.
