Detectives Hunt Mid-50s Suspect After Shocking Limehouse Attempted Rape

Horrifying Attack Inside Health Club

Police are urgently seeking the public’s help to identify a man linked to a terrifying attempted rape in Limehouse, Tower Hamlets. The attack happened between 5pm and 6pm on Monday, 17 February at a social and health club on Commercial Road, E14.

The victim, a man in his 20s, was targeted inside the venue. Officers were called in swiftly and launched a full investigation.

CCTV Image Released in Race to Find Suspect

Detectives from the Central East Public Protection Team have released CCTV footage showing a man they want to speak to. The suspect is described as a man in his mid to late 50s seen near the scene around the time of the attack.

“This was a terrifying experience for the victim, who continues to be supported by specialist officers. We are seeking the help of the public to identify the man in this image. Do you recognise him? The Met urges anyone who saw anything suspicious near Commercial Road that evening or recognises the man in the CCTV photo to come forward immediately.
