Deadly Crash Shuts A280: Police Hunt Witnesses
Fatal Smash on A280
Police are urgently seeking witnesses after a deadly collision on the A280 at Long Furlong just before 6am on Monday, September 9. A Kia Sportage and a lorry crashed near the busy junction, leaving the Kia driver dead at the scene.
Lorry Driver Injured
The lorry driver, a man in his 50s, suffered minor injuries and was rushed to hospital. The crash has forced officers to shut a section of the A280 between the A24 at Findon and the A27 at Durrington.
