Teen Assaulted and Robbed in Dargavel
A 15-year-old boy was attacked and robbed of his mobile phone by a gang of masked youths in Dargavel on Monday night.
Masked Teens Strike at Lochview Wynd
The incident happened around 7.40pm on 28 November at the junction of Lochview Wynd and Craigton Drive. Four or five suspects, all wearing dark clothes with hoods up and faces covered, targeted the teenager.
Victim Hospitalised but Released
Passersby came to the teen’s aid and he was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital. Thankfully, he was treated and later released.
Police Hunt Teen Mob – Public Help Needed
Detective Constable James Campbell said: “Our enquiries are ongoing. We urge anyone who saw what happened, or who has private CCTV or dash-cam footage, to come forward.”
