Teen Brutally Attacked and Robbed Near School at Dawn
In the early hours of Saturday, April 1, an 18-year-old was viciously assaulted and robbed while walking along Wych Lane near Holbrook Primary School.
Victim Ambushed and Beaten
Between 3am and 3:30am, the victim spotted two males on the opposite side of the road coming from Bridgemary School. As he neared the alleyway between Brookers Lane and Honeysuckle Close, the pair suddenly attacked him from behind. They demanded his phone before punching and kicking him to the ground.
Thugs Steal Wallet and Flee
One attacker grabbed the victim’s wallet. The pair then fled in the direction of Holbrook Primary School, leaving the beaten victim injured.
Police Seek Witnesses with Vital Info
Police Constable George Aram said: “This was a violent and sustained assault, with multiple punches and kicks to the head and body causing serious injuries.”
The suspects are described as:
- Aged 15-19
- Between 5ft 7in and 5ft 10in tall
- White, medium build
- Wearing grey hoodies and dark tracksuit bottoms
