Late-night mugging near Holbrook Primary School sparks police hunt
Teen Attacked and Robbed at Dawn
In the early hours of Saturday 1 April, just after 3am, an 18-year-old man was walking along Wych Lane towards Brookers Lane. He spotted two males on the opposite side, near Holbrook Primary School, coming from Bridgemary School.
Assault in Alleyway
As the victim neared the alley between Brookers Lane and Honeysuckle Close, the two men struck from behind. They demanded his phone, then punched and kicked him to the ground.
Thieves Steal Wallet and Flee
One attacker grabbed the victim’s wallet before they fled towards Holbrook Primary School.
Police Appeal for Help
Officers are reviewing CCTV footage and urge anyone with information to call 101, quoting incident number 44230128775.
