Police Arrest 20-Year-Old Man Over Missing Isle of Wight Girl Mia Lupton

Officers are urgently hunting for missing 14-year-old Mia Lupton from the Isle of Wight. A 20-year-old man, Kyle Middleton, has been arrested amid the probe after police revealed Mia may have travelled to the Birmingham area.

Mia’s Alarming Disappearance

The teenager, from Ryde, was last spotted getting off a ferry in Southampton at 2.30pm on Friday, 24 November. She hasn’t been seen or heard from since. Mia missed school that day, sold her phone, and vanished without a trace.

Her family raised the alarm after discovering she’d been chatting with a man online from the Midlands. There are fears she might have met him in Croydon before disappearing. Mia is just 14, and the man knew her age.

Police Release New Photos, Appeal for Help

Officers issued two fresh photos of Mia in a bid to track her down. She’s described as white, 5ft 2ins tall, slim build, with very long blonde hair streaked with pink. When last seen, she wore grey or black trousers and a black puffa coat.

Inspector Rob Abel said: “We are growing increasingly concerned for Mia’s safety the longer she is missing. We want to hear from anyone who may have seen or heard from her since Friday afternoon.”

He urged Mia directly: “If you are reading this, please get in touch with your family or us so we know you’re safe.”
