Beloved Pomeranian Vanishes from Newark Garden
Young Pomeranian pup Nala slipped her lead and escaped from a garden on Churchhill Drive, Newark, on 10 March. Despite frantic searches, she remains missing.
Spotted Being Snatched in Sutton Avenue
A week later, on 17 March, a witness saw a woman scoop up a dog matching Nala’s description in nearby Sutton Avenue and shove her into a black Ford Mondeo. The mystery woman’s identity is still unknown.
Desperate Search Underway
Missing posters have been plastered all over the area, but the whereabouts of two or three-year-old Nala are still a mystery.
“Nala’s owners are understandably very upset and we are doing everything we can to trace her,” said PC Annie Bloomfield of Nottinghamshire Police.
“We are appealing for anyone who has any information to get in touch. Please call Nottinghamshire Police on 101 quoting crime number 23*179062.”
