Teen Robbed in Brazen Bilborough Phone Snatch
Police were called to Wigman Road, Bilborough, after a robbery left a 12-year-old boy shaken. The victim was forced to hand over his phone at around 8.25pm on Tuesday, 21 March.
15-Year-Old Arrested Following Incident
Officers quickly arrested a 15-year-old boy on suspicion of robbery. The investigation is ongoing as police hunt for anyone who witnessed the crime.
Detective Condemns Heartless Crime
“This was an extremely serious offence that understandably left the young victim very distressed,” said Detective Constable Laura Price of Nottinghamshire Police.
“It is simply unacceptable behaviour. Robbery isn’t just a crime; it often causes emotional scars that last much longer than the physical loss.”
“We are taking every report seriously and urge anyone with information to come forward.”
