Masked Attackers Stab Man After Throwing Him From Bike
Police were scrambled at 10.20pm after a man in his twenties was found with a stab wound in an alley near Manor Close.
Two balaclava-wearing men jumped the cyclist from behind, threw him off his bike, then dragged and stabbed him.
Suspects Flee Towards Sangers Walk Recreation Area
Witnesses saw the pair sprinting off towards the nearby recreation spot shortly after the attack.
The victim was rushed to hospital and remains in critical but stable condition.
Police Launch Hunt, Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
Detective Sergeant Lee Marks promised:
“We are doing everything we can to identify those responsible and ensure they face the consequences of their actions.”
