Police Release Photofit After Teen Attacked in Southampton Park

Police have issued a Photofit following a shocking assault at Riverside Park, Southampton, where a 12-year-old boy was seriously injured.

Unprovoked Attack Leaves Boy Hospitalised

The incident happened around 8pm on Thursday, April 7, near Manor Farm Road. The young victim was playing football with friends when a teenage boy suddenly attacked him.

The assault left the boy unconscious and with a broken jaw, requiring hospital treatment.

Police Hunt Teenager with European Accent

Officers released an E-fit of the suspect, described as:

  • White male, approximately 15 years old
  • Wearing glasses
  • Spoken with a European accent

Detective Constable Claire Ratcliffe of the Western Investigations Team urged public help:

“This young boy was playing with friends when he was subjected to an unprovoked attack. We believe several witnesses saw what happened and hope someone will recognise this E-fit.”
