Sussex Cop Sacked Over Racist Rant At Female Officer

PC Dylan Cusano Fired Cold After Abuse

A Sussex police officer has been axed without warning after hurling racist insults at a female colleague. PC Dylan Cusano, from the Central South Command Unit, faced the sack for disgusting behaviour that breached every rule on respect, authority, equality, and basic decency.

Shocking Scene in Hastings

The incident went down last July when Cusano, off duty, called cops to report he’d been assaulted in Hastings. But when officers rocked up, Cusano lost it, spewing abuse and slinging a vile racial slur at a female officer, specifically targeting the Traveller community. Then he stormed off like nothing happened.

Met Police Take a Stand

The matter landed with the Metropolitan Police, who launched a misconduct probe. After reviewing all the evidence, a hearing on October 12 sealed Cusano’s fate – instant dismissal.

“PC Cusano’s actions fall well below the standards we expect from our officers,” says Superintendent Rachel Walmsley. “This kind of behaviour damages the trust and hard work of the majority. We will be ruthless in removing anyone who fails to uphold our values.”

Copper Banned For Life

Following his sacking, PC Cusano is now on the College of Policing barred list. That means no more police work – ever. A harsh but necessary end to a shameful episode.
