Road Rage Madness on A3: BMW vs Van Showdown
Police are hunting witnesses after a nasty road rage spat started on the northbound A3 at Thursley and rumbled on through Guildford. The drama involved a white BMW and a blue Mercedes van, finally ending in a layby near Junction 10 at Wisley. The whole saga went down between 3.30pm and 4pm on Wednesday, 26 June.
BMW Driver Nabbed – But Get’s Off on Bail
The driver of the white BMW, a 30-year-old man from Petersfield, Hampshire, was arrested on suspicion of carrying a bladed weapon, making threats to kill, and driving without insurance. He’s now been released under investigation while cops dig deeper.
Police Plea: Dashcams and Witnesses Needed
“This road rage incident could easily have ended in a serious collision, injury or worse,” warned PC Chris Nicholson from Surrey Police’s Roads Policing Unit.
“We urge anyone who saw what happened or has dashcam footage to get in touch.”
