Five Witnesses Still Needed
Authorities are desperate to identify five potential witnesses who may hold key information about a stabbing at London’s Olympic Park. These individuals were in the area when a man was knifed but haven’t come forward yet.
Police have released images of the witnesses, hoping the public will recognise them and help crack the case.
What Happened on October 31, 2022?
Shortly before 6pm on Halloween, emergency services rushed to the Aquatic Centre after reports of a stabbing. Officers and the London Ambulance Service found a man in his 60s suffering knife wounds. He was taken to an east London hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening.
Investigators say a gang of youths were setting off fireworks nearby just before the attack.
